I ordered on mobile, which indicated that it was open until midnight. I arrived at 9:04. I\u2019ve shown up at this location before and it\u2019s been closed, or out of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lights were off on the ordering board and the com system – but that display has been broken for nearly 2 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I waited 5 minute with no answer. I saw an employee at the dumpster (fitting I thought ). I asked if they were open, but she was on her phone with someone. She hollered \u201cyes we\u2019re open!\u201d I waited another 2 mins and a car showed up behind me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pulled ahead to the window and I was met with a 17-19 yr old man stating that \u201cTyler is on his break and no one can order until he gets back.\u201d He shouted to the Sheetz across the street. \u201cTyler!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tyler appears a minute later and I mention I have a mobile order. Tyler is clearly irritated at his coworkers, but I also suspect Tyler might have been high. He asks If I\u2019m the Uber guy. No sir. \u201cOh I mean are you door dash?\u201d No sir. I\u2019m Brandon. Dave\u2019s double. Frosty. Soda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He starts making the order, and hands me my Frosty and a Soft Drink – no straw or spoon. A minute later, he appears in the window. \u201cUhhhh\u2026we don\u2019t have 4 oz Patties for the Dave\u2019s Double. Do you want 4 2oz Patties?\u201d I agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sandwich took 6-7 minutes. So frosty is melting and I can\u2019t drink my soda. He appears with the sandwich, and I ask about the straw. And then about the spoon. He hands me both and starts telling me that several customers today requested straws for Frostys\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pulled away and ate my food. It was the best dang burger I\u2019ve had. Terrible service, weird staff, and Tyler, you may have been high, but that was the best dang burger I ever had from Wendy\u2019s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
